ésadhar welcomes exchange students from all over the world for one or two semesters.
Students enrolled under a bilateral agreement or an Erasmus+ agreement are exempt from tuition fees. At the end of the mobility program, ésadhar provides students with a transcript of grades (expressed in ECTS), so that they can have their studies validated by their home institution.
To facilitate integration, ésadhar offers advanced French language courses at the University of Le Havre or Rouen, as well as some courses in English.
Enrolment is compulsory and entitles the student to a Léocarte, which gives access to university catering and student services. Civil liability insurance is compulsory.
For incoming exchange students
ésadhar has an extensive and diversified network of partner schools (within the ERASMUS+ program and worldwide). International students are welcome to take part in the ésadhar exchange program for one semester or one academic year. They usually enroll in the 2nd year of undergraduate studies, or in the first year of postgraduate studies.
Nomination and application deadlines for exchange students
→ Semester 1 and the whole academic year: 30 April
→ Semester 2: 31 October

ésadhar awards ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)
One semester is equivalent to 30 ECTS.
Fees
No specific fees for exchange students: only the fees from your home institution.
French courses
It is preferable to arrive with a good level in French (B2 recommended). ésadhar offers advanced French language courses with partner institutions: the University of Le Havre or Rouen. Somme courses are taught in English.

Insurance
All students in France, even those on exchange programs, are required by law to register with the Social Security system. Registration is free but mandatory.
