Congratulations to the three winners of the Ambivalences program: Ambre Charpagne, Kell, and Baptiste Leroux, a 2020 graduate of ÉSADHAR.
The three regional centers for artistic creation in the digital environment—in Brittany, Normandy, and the Pays de la Loire—have joined forces to create Ambivalences, an interregional cooperation program designed to support artistic creation and its dissemination.

ESADHAR will participate in the 6th edition of the Exemplaires Biennial – Forms and Practices of Publishing. It will take place at the École Supérieure d’Art de Lorraine in Metz from March 26 to 28. Dedicated to contemporary publishing practices, the biennial explores the transformations in publishing: the rise of digital media, advances in printing technologies, and new modes of publication. The biennial contributes to this discussion through graphic and editorial design workshops organized by the fourteen participating French-speaking art and design schools.

ESADHAR, in partnership with Le Portique—Le Havre’s regional center for contemporary art—and the University of Le Havre-Normandy, is hosting a unique event celebrating graduates of the DNSEP and the Master’s in Creative Writing from April 2 to 4, 2026. Performances, a symposium, workshops, and exhibitions are on the program for these literary journeys, where voices from Le Havre and beyond will come together. Whether offering an overview of the literary landscape or a return to its home port, this event will be an opportunity—if not for a dip in the sea—to dive into words!

The latest trilogy by Les Unités de Souffle, titled *Comme un amour*, will premiere at the Al Madina Theater in Beirut (Lebanon) on December 17 and 18, 2025.

This project, conceived and directed by Lena Osseyran, builds on research conducted at ÉSADHAR as part of the RADIAN doctoral program.

For this exhibition, Edouard Prulhière and 24 other artists have been invited, and all have adhered to a common guideline: the artwork or project on display must fit inside a shoebox.

An urban exhibition curated by the Atelier Extensions Libres at ÉSADHAR, showcasing the work of third-year students on the themes of diversity and gender equality, in dialogue with a selection of works from the City of Grand-Quevilly’s art library collection.

The preparatory work for this urban exhibition is on display through March 27 at Rouen City Hall.
We invite you to join us from March 25 to April 1 to discover, in the streets of Rouen, the 76 posters created for the occasion.

Hosted at ÉSADHAR in partnership with La Fabrique Massillon, Amnesty International’s “Ad-elle-phité” exhibition features some thirty posters designed to promote women’s rights and raise awareness of the struggle for gender justice around the world.

Hermine Bouvier, an artist who graduated from ÉSADHAR and was awarded a residency at the Centre d’art contemporain de Normandie in Maromme, Le SHED.

The exhibition *Broken Pillar* by Suj O, an artist who graduated from ÉSADHAR in 2024 and was a 2025 recipient of the Summer Residency program, is on view through April 4, 2026, at the Maison des Arts in Grand Quevilly.

Béatrice Lussol’s sixth book, *Non merci la vie*, is available from Éditions L.

As part of Marie Plagnol’s curatorial residency, and following a series of workshops led by artist Margot Bernard, students from the ARC Art and Social Practices program hosted a live radio broadcast on Saturday, February 7, during the school’s open house.

Rue de Paris is a series of ten monumental intaglio engravings, born from a dialogue between a graphic designer and a printer. Created and printed between 2015 and 2018, this series reveals a little-known aspect of the work of Frédéric Teschner (1972–2016), a French graphic designer whose creations have left their mark on contemporary graphic design.

Opening reception aboard the Wagon of the Dionysiaques Association. The program features paintings, sculptures, and installations, with Edouard Prulhière among the guest artists.

Once again this year, ÉSADHAR has been selected for the VIDEOFORMES festival.

The selected videos are from the Video Module, taught by Jason Karaïndros to the school’s students, and will be on display through March 27 at Galerie Dolet, 25 rue Étienne-Dolet, Clermont-Ferrand.

Elisa Barbier, an artist who graduated from ÉSADHAR in 2021 and is a 2025 recipient of the Summer Residency program.

Second-, third-, and fifth-year students were invited by ÉCHEC À LA PROPRIÉTÉ to artistically celebrate the 1,000,063rd anniversary of art alongside the centennial of Robert Filliou in Sauve, in the Gard department.

They had the opportunity to meet artists from several generations (both local and international), navigate production conditions marked by relative precariousness and, fortunately, tragic weather, and then open an exhibition in a unique venue, Les Cazernes de Sauve.

As part of Marie Plagnol’s curatorial residency, Anna Holveck will lead a workshop in February 2026 focused on connection through the voice. Over the course of three days, a group of six strangers will be invited to listen to one another and explore the unique qualities of each voice together.

Over the course of a semester, some twenty students in the DNSEP/Master’s in Creative Writing program explored the Jules Durand case through fiction, letters, articles, visual materials, and songs. Under the supervision of Sarah Al-Matary (ULHN) and Yann Owens (ésadhar).

This week, a writing workshop for creative writing students was held on the Rouen campus, organized by Béatrice Lussol in collaboration with author Laure Gauthier.

The presentation took place on Thursday, March 12, during which students read and shared the texts they had written during the workshop.

Nausica Gloris, a graduate of the DNSEP/Master’s in Creative Writing program and the 2025 recipient of the Creative Writing Residency program.

After a two-month writing residency in Medellín (Colombia), Nausica is sharing with you for the first time her photos and writings inspired by her encounters with the women and men who make this country a place in constant motion.

In 2023, Ésadhar, in collaboration with the Cité internationale des arts, the Galerie Duchamp in Yvetot (an art center of national interest), and the Palais de Tokyo, launched “Résidence d’été,” a program designed to support and encourage the professional integration of emerging artists.

The program is open to all Ésadhar graduates who have graduated within the last five years. Applications are open until March 1, 2025.

ESADHAR, the Alliance Française in Medellín, and the University of Le Havre Normandy, in partnership with the City of Le Havre, have decided to join forces to launch a literary residency for young writers in Medellín, Colombia.

In late March, ÉSADHAR will host a week-long event focused on sustainable development and eco-friendly practices: the Week of Eco-Friendly Actions and Practices.

From March 23 to 26, 2026, students from the Le Havre and Rouen campuses will come together for a variety of activities. Workshops, meetings, discoveries, and experiments will punctuate this week, which is centered on the challenges of the ecological transition.
