Our feelings about our roots

On Friday, November 28, 2025, students from the Le Havre and Rouen campuses gathered for a roundtable discussion. They addressed the following questions: How do we feel about our “Afro-descendant” heritage?

Workshop at the Sauve Barracks

Second-, third-, and fifth-year students were invited by ÉCHEC À LA PROPRIÉTÉ to artistically celebrate the 1,000,063rd anniversary of art alongside the centennial of Robert Filliou in Sauve, in the Gard department.

They had the opportunity to meet artists from several generations (both local and international), navigate production conditions marked by relative precariousness and, fortunately, tragic weather, and then open an exhibition in a unique venue, Les Cazernes de Sauve.
