Overview

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your skills, Ésadhar’s public classes allow you to master techniques, develop your artistic sensibility, and round out or refine your training under the guidance of experienced, certified instructors.

ESADHAR offers weekly classes and workshops open to everyone: beginners and experienced students, children, teenagers, and adults. A wide range of disciplines is available: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, art history, and more.
During school breaks, recreational workshops for children and thematic or technical workshops for teens and adults round out the educational offerings.

Committed to a welcoming environment and the inclusion of all participants, the pedagogical approach emphasizes a step-by-step progression, encourages experimentation and collaboration, and embraces the diversity of contemporary creative forms.

Preparing for Art and Design School Entrance Exams

Through a dedicated 4-hour weekly class and workshops, Ésadhar offers specific preparation for art school entrance exams. This is an opportunity for high school students and young adults to better understand the structure of higher education in the arts and to receive guidance on creating their portfolios of personal work. The intensive February workshop provides insights into the various components of the entrance exams and offers practical, real-world scenarios for practice.

Arts and Cultural Education

ESADHAR is a key player in arts and cultural education within its region. Projects with school classes, school tours, and meetings with teachers and other audiences are central to the institution’s mission, which aims to contribute to making artistic culture accessible to all. The “Cordées de la Réussite” program, in collaboration with the French Ministry of Education, enables the school to host classes with their teachers in a special capacity to facilitate access to higher education in art and design.

Exhibiting

The end-of-year exhibition on each campus allows students and their families to share the work created throughout the year during a festive event.

Get Involved in School Life

By registering for public courses, you’ll receive all the latest updates on school life, allowing you to attend lectures and exhibition openings. You’ll also have access to the libraries on both campuses.

ESADHAR is a member of the ANÉAT network

National Association of Regional Art Schools for Amateur Practice. Founded in 2015, it provides a national framework for exchanges between schools. More information about ANÉAT
